Red face T-Mobile to Go cards question

I very recently bought the $88 T-Mobile deal at Target. My question is, what do I have to do and when to activate the $100 card, I have about 5 months on my other Nokia 6030 bought from T-Mobiles website with the 'Free' $25 card, I have about 2 months from the initial activation of the phone and will have 90 days on the 'Free' $25 card when I put that $25 card on the phone.

My questions are because I don't want to activate the newest Nokia 6030 until the time is almost up on the first phone. I also plan on keeping the current Nokia 6030 as a backup in case something happens to the newer one, I plan on keeping T-Mobiles service with the $10 roll-over, I don't really talk on the phone very much, so it's good to have a long time of service verse lots of minutes, but 1000 minutes will give me a lot of yak time if I ever start yakking.

But, I don't want to risk the $100 card being void by the time I get around to using it.

Also, I have no idea how the T-Mobile cards from Target work, I have heard they are in layers of activation, one being from Target, you call or something, and they give you the 'real' pin number, and I don't know how long that is good for. Should I call this week, or can I hold out longer on calling to get the 'real' pin number? Is the 'real' pin number good for a year before you have to use it? Or just 90 days?

Sorry to be so long winded, I am used to Tracfones cards and codes and pins. And T-Mobile to Go is new to me.
:idiot:
