I have several TracFones, which is all I use. According to what I have read on this board T-Mobil offers a good choice.

I bought an unlocked GSM phone and a T-Mobil SIM card with $10 starter units/minutes/dollars or whatever they are called. I tried to activate on the phone and was automatically transferred to a live person. He was in Arizona so that is one up on TracFone.

Long story short the system was slow according to Tony. He said to leave the phone on and I would get a text message with my new number. 2 1/2 hours and waiting. :lac:
