Thank said, I have both phones you are interested in. Here is my take.

For me I prefer the RAZR as it's a very comfortable phone for me to hold. I like the width, the fact that it's made out of aluminum and that it has a very nice keyboard. I also like that it's light and flat, so it fits in my pocket when in casual clothes and in the breast pocket of my suit when working. Then when it comes to functionality it had great reception and a very nice large, clear display. The flip is quite durable and aligns nicely when closed. My model is the original RAZR V3, in fact I have one silver, one black, as I like choices and both of these are very nice looking phones.

Then I also have the SLVR L7 and L2.

These are also excellent phones. The flat form factor with exposed display (scratch resistant glass) is a bit more vulnerable as it's always exposed. Also the displays are smaller than on the RAZR, something that I would encourage you to compare in person. The keypad is nearly identical (on the L7) to the Razr, with the exception of being a bit smaller. Lacking the flip like the RAZR, is an advantage as there is just one less area to wear, and become loose. Regarding the camera's on both SLVR & RAZR they are not very good. However that's not an issue to me as I do not use them. Battery life is fairly similar.

Regarding the L2, I purchased this phone _just because it has no camera and no music player_. It's a great basic phone yet very elegant in design and without a camera, it's just 9.5 mm flat. The build quality is excellent, the keypad is excellent, and overall this is a surprizingly great phone. The call reception is the best, very clear, and the voice tones are warm and easy to hear.

Hope this helps you.

Cheers.....:w00t:
