...crack of a Samsung SCH-A645. Advice? September 2006, we signed a 2 year contract with Alltel. My husband picked Samsung SCH-A645 cell phone. The phone is only a few months old, and, mysteriously, the inner screen appears to be cracked. Now, we did nothing unusual to this phone (other than flipping it shut) that might have caused this break, yet Alltel is saying that they would not cover this under warrantee because it "appears" that we damaged the phone.Needless to say, I think that is crap. Flipping a FLIP phone shut and the screen cracking is not the same as dropping the "flippin'" phone in the toilet or something. This is normal wear-and-tear and the phone should have been designed to withstand this.1) I want to know if anyone has had similar problems with this model or similar model of Samsung phone so I can show this may be a product desing flaw.2) Any advice on how to get Alltel to honor the warrantee?If they continue to be stubborn about this, I am prepared to go to the the BBB. Other ideas?
