Virgin, amp'd or alltel for prepaid cell phones?

I am looking to buy a prepaid cell phone from one of these companies. Which ones have the best coverage, phones and ringtones (all of them are around the same price range and have no access fees). Anybody have one of these prepaid cellphone plans and are satisfied?

Virgin is good, and so is Boost. My daughter had Virgin for about a year, and it was fine.

Virgin is good. Virgin uses the Sprint network. Minimum fees is only $20 every 90 days. Ringtones cost $2.50. Only 18 cents per minute.
