anybody in minnesota use alltel or alltel...

...prepaid?? im not quite sure but i dont think alltel the phone service works at all in minnesota
but tell me if im wrong
i'd reallly love to use their prepaid service but it might not work :(

I live in Minneapolis!

Alltel should work in Minneapolis and the immediate metro area. I don't know how well it would work here. Prepaid networks tend to not have as great of service as their contract counterparts. Prepaid phones generally speaking do not roam, which in the majority of Minnesota you probably would be doing if you chose Alltel. Since it is not a big provider here, its network is not very big.

They must be expanding it because they've started advertising Alltel in the Twin Cities fairly recently.
