T-mobile Krzr

While the KRZR is still miles away from replacing the RAZR as far as annoying ubiquity goes, it’s making headway, and is soon coming to T-Mobile. The slim silver KRZR the same basic hardware as the Cingular/AT&T version, including a 2-Megapixel camera and EDGE. The T-Mo version, however, adds stereo Bluetooth. Unlike the Verizon and Sprint versions, there are no external playback buttons. But those weiners only have a 1.3-Megapixel camera anyway, so whatevs! Want 3G? Not on this phone. That’s just as well, though, as T-Mobile’s 3G network is still in the incubator, so if you’re looking for a long-term fix, this phone might not be it, no matter how hot it is. It’s like that girl at the club, she’s miss right now, not miss right. Right? Right.

T-Mobile to Finally Get KRZR

The Pearl has a much nicer screen, and more features than the KRZR does, so I'm not sure you'll see the same selling mileage as you do with the Pearl. But hey it wouldn't be the first time that I've been wrong about something.

The Pearl is indeed, but I don't think fingerprints are as noticeable on the Pearl as on the KRZR.

On a side, I have been watching videos of the RIZR and D900. I can't figure out why people instinctively slide the phone up by planting their thumb right in the middle of the screen. I cringe when I see this.

I think I would give more consideration to the krzr than the rizr only for the simple consideration that I have concerns about the top row of keys on the rizr as I do with every slider. They tend to come to close to the bottom of the slide making heavy texting difficult without mistakes. Quill managed to say in her review that she noticed this as well and was prone to a few errors. Sadly, thats a deal breaker for me.

Seeing this would make me cringe too Matt unless the user of the phone had a good screen protector on it.
I put screen protectors on both of my kids gameboys right after I bought them last year. And after peeling the protector back, the screen still looks brand new like the day they got them. I can't say the same for the screen protectors however.

I noticed that issue on the D415. I didn't get that phone because of it. However, I don't have that problem with the D900. My hands are large, but I can text with my thumbs quite easily. It really varies from model to model and pictures do not always tell the whole story.

Absolutely and I won't make any decisions till I can actually get my hands on one. Though I have to say I played with the nokia 5300 the other day and while its not as fashionable as the rizr it certainly performed well. There is a ton of clearance between the bottom of the slide and the keypad, its a dream come true for slider phones. The only downside to this phone is poor battery life, to the tune of 3 hours talk time. Though I may pick it up to play with for a while.

LOL, it's all good. I just know my former screen name was NikDaHick (My name is Niki and I live in Alabama, hence the 'hick') but for some reason, everyone always referred to me as a "he" and it got annoying. After that I always made sure my names were girly sounding.
I was just looking out for Quill. She's nice.

ohh 3 hours talk time. Wow that is not good at all. I was kinda liking the idea of the Nokia 5300. Not sure about that now.

The blocking of net access for 3rd party apps on some new T-Mobile phones, is really turning me off.

I know but motorola in general just turns me off. If it wasn't the for knowledge that I can personalize them and hack the software anytime I wouldn't even consider it. I guess I'd rather have the idea and a possibly bad battery experience than another go around with motorola.

Pixiebaby...yup thats girly sounding!!!!
