Here's the Nokia 5300 on TMobile website. Unsupported Browser
To get this phone with TMobile To Go prepaid service, you would pay the one year price ($199.99,due to no rebate with PP) as listed on that site plus an added $50.00 for the To Go PP kit.

just a note
I saw the REAL phone in the store
it has QVGA screen
since you can get it for $229 without contract renewal in my t-mobile, the price is pretty decent

$299.99 seems kind of high priced to me.

I second that. Seems very over priced to me. Not a bad phone, just too expensive

Well after checking it out at the TMobile store this afternoon I'm more convinced than ever that this phone is marked up to high. There was just to much plastic on it for me. Maybe they would be better off selling it as a To Go phone.

I just returned from my local T-Mo store and I agree, in fact I was quite surprized that the plastic was not of better quality. It's not bad, just not up to the standard that they typically use on their better phones. Also I did not care for the way the slider was designed. That's the most important area to look at, as some of the slider models have a fair amount of looseness to begin with. That would only get worse with use.

This is one of the reasons I'm impressed with the RIZR, as it has a very good slider design.

Cheers :)
