Where can I look to just purchase a cell phone w/o

contact for cingular I already have a contact? I just want the slider but cingular want to much for theres

None of the phone companies will sell you the phone for less than retail without a contract usually 2yrs. If you want the phone without the contract you should expect to pay full price from everywhere including stores like bestbuy or any other place you can get phones.

You can get one off ebay. I have gotten around 10 phones from ebay that way.

Try Walmart as well. Some of their full retail prices are almost as much as $100 off of what the corporate store price is.

I agree. I've used ebay to both buy and sell tons of phones. Just check the seller's reputation carefully before you buy.

I've purchased new unlocked unbranded phones from a few web sites that have done a very good job. That said, I'm a little uncertain about ebay. Do you buy from a certain ebay store or ? Any tips you have for me will be greatly appreciated.

you said you brought phones from ebay? I just purchased one and is very sad. It cannot access the web, is there anything i can possibly buy to helpo me get the web?

It depends on the phone, you usually need to enter your providers APN from your provider and make sure you have purchased a data package.
