Most carriers offer this application, I believe. I know Sprint does for sure.


Geocaching is an entertaining adventure game for GPS users. Participating in a cache hunt is a good way to take advantage of the wonderful features and capability of a GPS unit. The basic idea is to have individuals and organizations set up caches all over the world and share the locations of these caches on the internet. GPS users can then use the location coordinates to find the caches. Once found, a cache may provide the visitor with a wide variety of rewards. All the visitor is asked to do is if they get something they should try to leave something for the cache.


It's a lot of fun, usually rewarding & pretty neat to do in groups. My friends and I will usually go out at night to do them. This summer we're going to take the dive and do underwater cache hunts. There's one near us now, but it's a little chilly yet to go diving (we aren't certified divers, so we'd probably die).

Anyway, if you've tried it, let us know. If not, give it a shot. I quite enjoy it. My friends and I are thinkin' of starting a team.

i have played around with it a lil bit but not to much. the m610 doesn't like come apps for some odd reason :/

Oooh you should try it again. I have problems with it sometimes on my M610, but it works the majority of the time. A few times it's failed to download data, but if I retry it goes through.

ok laurs, im going to give this a try again. when this app first came out there was hardly anything in my area...now it seems to be hoppin. :roll:
