Help making international calls
Help! I live in the US and am trying to figure out how to dial a british mobile #. I have both Cingular and Verizon. I prefer to use the Verizon. I have the number to call but I am unsure how to do it. Thanks for the help!

What is an embedded calling card?
I once called my calling card for overseas call, and when I entered the number to call, instead of pressing the pound key I pressed the call button, so the phone placed the call (while putting the cc on hold) and I spoke for half an hour and it cost me like $30..... I should disable ld caling! |

I am using a pre-paid Verizon cell phone for that reason. I have it and I need to use it up...this is a good way, eh? I am told by Verizon I have to dial 011 as well as 44. I guess I will be making several calls..who knows..I might get someone in the Ukraine. Thanks for the help....please send more if you wish!

I would say to use www.futurephone.com but I'm pretty sure that the site is shut down...lol
There are free sites out there, but you have to search pretty hard. Calling cards are fairly cheep these days. Especially for Britain. |
