I just bought this phone from a friend but the disc wasnt included. everytime i plug the usb into my phone something pops up in the corner of my computer screen saying:
"USB device not recognized. One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and windows does not recognize it"
what does it mean and how do i fix it? i tried going onto my phone pressing settings - connectivity - modem - then activating modem. Its done this on 2 different computers so i know theres no problem with the computer.
I have a sim card in the phone its just not registered, im on pay as you go and i dont have minutes on it yet so it doesnt even have a phone number, i dont know if that would make a difference or not.
Please someone tell me what Im supposed to do to fix this, its fustrating!

you might just need to get the drivers either from rogers or from lg.com and load them on the computer
