try using ##3828# and then go threw the menus if any (im not sure i don't know if the same sprint codes will work on verizon) and see if you can find the unlock code or use bitpim or QPST

Call the company and tell them your problem and i'm pretty sure their going to ask for information like your name and stuff so just give them that info and see what happens.

Verizon phones do not use sim cards. They use ESN numbers.

It has been a few months since I had a Verizon LG phone. But if I were you I would try entering the last four digits of your phone number, and then hit the unlock key.

if that does not unlock it, what i have always done is just call *228 and do option 1, that resets the unlock code to the last four digits of your phone number. This works on all verizon phones.. although i have had mixed results if the phone is already locked. Some phones wont even allow a *228 if the phone is already locked, but most do.

On any of the LG phones that I've had with Verizon if your phone was locked you couldn't do anything with then until you put the right code it. I took one of my phones to a Verizon service center and they were able to reset the phone for me. I don't know how the Rep. did it because he took the phone in the back to do it.

unlock code

the 4 digit unlock code is usually the last 4 digits of your cell number. And if you don't change it, you will always know what it is.

That's what I thought. Thanks for the confirmation on this. I know there is also a way to go into the Lg's hidden menu to change it back to the default.
Hit Menu-0-000000 Once in that menu scroll through the features till you find it.
