LG Phone Owners: How do I?
I want to have caller id on my phone, it's an LG from sprint i don't know the series. I can't find anywhere in the phone manual that tells me how I can save phone numbers and have the person's name show up whenever the call me. Please Help!!!!!!

Go into your phone book menu section of your LG phone and look for something that says new name or number. Type the name of the person and the number, click save. After you have their name and number programed in your phone book their name will show up on your caller ID whenever you receive a call from that person.

Make sure you save it with the area code as well, I know that sounds a little funny but without the area code saved in the phone book the caller id won't recognize the name/number correlation.

alot of phones now won't show the name if it is save as a 1 (area code) xxx xxxx number for some reason but most of sprint phones from what i can remember will show the number if you just have the number no area code.

Easiest way to tell the phone model is to take the battery out and look at the label on the back of the phone, It is always best to put the a/c on a number, that way if you happen to be traveling and have to call someone the area code it already there. And there is no problem with using the area code unlike a landline phone.
