Well originally Motorola phones are manufactured in different parts of Europe. The phones that come down directly from the manufacturer to the US are known as OEM phones. I known some store in NY named exotic phone, they only sell unlocked OEM phones, you can contact them if you want a genuine stuff or gadget.
And about the Asian made products, you are absolutely correct. I had the worse experience of my life with a phone couple of months ago, I bought a nokia phone which was made in China, it had a one year US warranty as well but who knew I would have to face so many difficulties with it. The phone worked perfectly fine for about two months but after two months the phone was giving me endless trouble. Anyways lets not talk about it.
One advise to you, be aware of the made in China stuff, they are going to make your life a hell!!!
