I have a Motorola L6 Slver.?

I dont understand why you cant add your own ring tones with out buying the 50$ kit that you need for this. To me 50$ is alot of money and I cant afford it. I only have the phone cause I use it for all my long distance calls I have 12 brothers and Sistes and it is handy for keeping touch compared to a landline phone. My husband got this phone for me for our 20th Anniversary or I would of never picked it. and it ticks me off that you have to pay sooo much for this stuff. Is their a cheaper way I cant afford alot.I did try to purchase ringtones from my cell phone company but it wont work it keeps teeling me It failed to connect. You also need this kit to get your photos off your phone.

This is probably no help but I have a SLVR. May be it's not the generation you have, but I don't remember ever having to buy a 50.00 ringtone kit. I know I have purchased ringtones and they work. I wonder if you tried without the kit if it would work. I hope this helped a little.

I think your aftermarket accessories package at eBay would be substantially cheaper, probably includes the same stuff; software conversion CD and usb connector. Just search Motorola SLVR L7 accessories.

Master Reset:

Reset the phone to the default settings:

- > Settings > Initial Setup > Master Reset

This phone will be reset to default settings.

________________________________________

Master Clear:

Erase all downloaded files and clear all settings and entries you made except
SIM card information, unlock code, security code, and lifetime timer:

- > Settings > Initial Setup > Master Clear

Caution: Master clear erases all information you have entered
(including phonebook and datebook entries) and content you have
downloaded (including photos and sounds) stored in your phone’s memory.
After you erase the information, you can’t recover it.
