It's been out for a VERY long time (in terms of phone years). A little shorter than the original RAZR V3, but getting there... :dead:

But that's not to say it's not usable or a nice phone though! I got my RAZR V3 just a few months ago, even thought it's been out for years, and have been using it ever since! :phone:

yea, ive seen a black pebl once and it looked very nice in person, but it has the same moto UI as the razr?, ive gone stray from moto for a while

Motorola's UI is is definitely not for everyone that's for sure, but they make great reception phones. After having several Motorola's now I've gotten so used to the UI that it doesn't even bother me any more.

cool, but i want to get rid of my nokia 6103 first before getting a pebl, got too many phones at my house that need to be sold :rip2:

I had a red PEBL for a while last summer. Unlocked, unbranded, all that. I thought the reception was pretty good and I was impressed with the call quality. One of the first times I used it was in a loud bar and I was impressed with how easy it was to carry on a conversation.
The UI isn't much changed from the RAZR V3 to the PEBL. It's a wee bit less laggy, but, IMO, it's the same guts in a different package.
The spring loaded flip is fun, but for someone like me who fidgets, it's the kind of thing I figure I'd eventually break.
I recall the battery life being pretty good and it took OK pics for a VGA cam. It's a nice back up phone, I would say.

The white PEBL is kinda hot. I think, as quill said, it would make a nice back up, or fun/fashion phone.
