If it's a debate of GSM razr v3 vs Gsm krzr, then yes I would take the krzr. Is it's CDMA razr v3m vs CDMA krzr I would take the V3m. But then I would realize that CDMA motos are a little slow and not worth the effort and money. I would then look at more feature packed phones that work a lot better (which is quite easy these days).

Quick question, on your v3m black ice, can you play music from the memory card (not from the Sprint music store)? Because I returned my CDMA krzr for that reason, among others, and I've played with v3m's, and have not been able to do that. That and even after the software update, the CDMA motos are slow at best.

I thought CDMA Motorolas (unlike GSM ones) are top notch for signal reception, are they not? It's rumored that Motorola to CDMA is like Nokia to GSM... ![]() |

I never had issues with the krzr's reception, It was just a pos. It was really sluggish, no support for Java, and a few other little glitches. Aside from the style, the krzr doesn't compare to other CDMA phones. To me, if it doesn't function as I want/need it to, then it is useless for me. The CDMA razr V3m and krzr are virtually the same...see....
Phone Scoop As far as the CDMA motos go, they're ok....but they make the best IDEN phones........lol |

I've always had Motorola phones on both the GSM and the CDMA network and the reception has been nothing short of excellent as far as I'm concerned. I never had a problem with any of them, that's why I'll continue to use them.

The Sprint krzr had reception everywhere, I was just disappointed with the operating speed, the lack of Java, and the fact that I couldn't use mp3s from my computer. But, then again, thats me....

I haven't been able to play with it too much, but I like the VZW Fire Krzr. VZW's is also able to play music from the memory card.
