I have that same phone. There isn't an option to turn that clicking sound off. Why would you want to anyway? You're not sneaking pics up women's skirts are you??

In mobiles you cannot turn the sound of the camera shutter off, just change the sound.I believe it is a legal requirement, just like the bleep when you are recording a conversation. So other people know a photo is being taken.

I have a Motorola V551 and i can turn mine off I can't find all the info on it but you could try this .open your camera and if there is an options or set up menu for it open that and see if it lets you select a shutter sound .. if so open that and scroll up or down and see if it says none.. that's what i have to do with mine .. and i don't use for skirt shots thank you .....after searching some cell phone forums I have come to the conclusion .. by way of facts that each cell phone provider is responsible for having or not having that option..so you may be stuck with it unless you have it re flashed which could be done for a fee.. but if your worried about it at school then set your ringer for vibrate and set your volume on low or mute that might help
