i'd say the 6111 is better, first cause it looks better than the boring looked 6230i.. secondly it's a newer phone of nokia. 6230i is a few month old.. and i didn't hear any good thing about the 6230i.. my cousin had this phone and he was very argued about that phone cause the software of the 6230i made problems..

Nokia 6230i is by far the best out of those two.
It has GSM 850 which is what the US carriers use for roaming or areas where the higher frequency is not available. So this phone will always get a signal. Also since it's been around awhile it's a proven phone that you can count on. I have seen the 6111 and the plastic is cheap looking and it's thicker than the 6230i. It also has 5 hrs talk time compared to just over 3 hrs for the 6111. It has great menus' graphics and supports a memory card. One of Nokia's best models. |

His has been a great phone. The reception is terrific, and he has not had a single problem with it. Cheers |
