Nokia 6233 Review

Oh.. the phone is a beauty.. if u r a 6230i or 6230 fans.. then this phone is a must...

THe price that i saw is SGD550 = RM 1260 and come with 1 Nokia bluetooth headset... which is very cheap comparing to the current price of 6230i is around RM1299 !!!

THe screen is big (bigger than my k750i) and speaker sound not bad cos have 2 side speakers for stereo output.

The menu and icons very much the same like 6230i but with faster respond.

The camere view finder also large and occupy the whole screen.

THe only drawback ? no front camera for video call during 3G.

More solid feel and built like a metal casing.. instead of plastic feel of 6230i.

Ok... now some review.

1. Image and video :

The video can go 640 X 480 which is think is quite clear and big. the image capturing from camera also fast compare to K750i and to me its much clearer except that this one dun have the flash. Very much a 2MP cam and video quality is excellent.

2. Contacts and Calls.

The font is ok size. the good thing is that it come with auto voice call... if your friend name is PETER, u key in and when u say PETER, it will dial. The much awaited full screen caller ID also have it in this phone. (Not sure if symbian phone like N70 have it fullscreen now ?) apart... there r spaces for email. add. blah blah blah.. and yes.. the phone support caller video..

3. Flight mode is enabled in this phone bcos of the MP3 player.

4. MP3 sound from speaker is good.. can fight with Moto E398.. with stereo and bass. With the earphone also good. So.. can be use as a normal MP3. Radio also come with the auto station name..

5. 3G so far so good, speed is ok.. the only draw back is the phone dun have front camera... so u can video call but the other party can't see u.

6. THe screen quality is good, sharp and clear. and BIG. not like 6230.

7. Keypad... excellent sensitivity and soft and nice to touch. Menu respond is very fast... compare to k750 and 6230i.

8. Messaging speed is fast... the font can be change.. small or big.. mine AP comes with Malay, Mandarin and English. another good thing is .. the phone is equip with flash MMS ? must be send MMS on flash format.

9. The normal apps... dictionary, converter, soccer 3d, rally 3D, snake 3, soduko flash, world clock, catalogs. THen have nokia presenter and nokia sensor.. (not too sure what is that.. must be something for presentation use).

10. Free bluetooth Nokia HS-58W.... connection is good and audio is clear.

11. AP set price.. RM1250 come with bluetooth which cost around RM200. So.. i must say its 1 affordable 2MP and 3G phone around.

CONS : NO front cam for video call and camera without flash.
