Bummed out. My cat of 11 years has cancer in his liver. They should be able to get it out, but it will cost me a small fortune. I don't care. I am emotionally attached to him. I started my therapy for my broken shoulders. Hurts like hell. :/

Ouch man sounds like a rough time...Hope it all gets better for you...I love pets, but they would be so much better if their life span was as long as ours...But i hope your cats ok. Good luck with the therapy

I truly can appreciate your situation and send my best. As a very sincere animal lover, especially of cats and dogs, I have found myself in a similar position to yours.

I will think positive thoughts and hope that all works out well for you and your beloved cat. Please keep us posted.

All the best.

Thanks tytyguy, I'm going to enjoy this weather while it lasts, as once summer is here I will be living in 105 degree temps for weeks on end. The kind that only cools down by 2 or 3 degrees at night........Whew!

Cheers.....

I have a headache the size of texas. (okay, maybe not that big, but hey...)
My next door neighbor pounding a hammer on their metal fence post isn't helping matters either.

Awful AWFUL.

My cats cancer has spread to his lungs. Nothing more I can do. He is home resting but vet thinks he only has a few more days if he stops eating.

He's been my buddy for 11 years.

Matt, my best wishes go out to you. As a long time cat and dog owner, pets that I am incredibly close to, I know exactly what you are going through. This is the most trying time of pet ownership, I have been there a few times. The loss is overwhelming and the healing time is long.

However on a postive note, you have contributed significantly with your love and care of your cat. One lucky cat that enjoyed life with you as opposed to being outside and alone. Be strong, try to focus on just one other thing positive for yourself. You will still be there for your cat, but hopefully also for yourself. Remember that as hard as this is, it too will pass. You've done all you can and I commend you for that.

Thank you for sharing this most personal moment.

Best Regards,
Leonard

I thank you for that, Leonard. And, you're right. He has had a great life, and I am very lucky to have had the past 11 years with him. It's hard because to look right at him, he doesn't seem to sick. Just weak. He is still eating, and getting supplements. Time will tell. :)
