I'm looking for someone that could help me make a website.
It will have to be able to let people create accounts, where they input school, locations , and 5 or 6 other pieces of info. Then once this is done, they need to be able to search other users by these 5 or 6 different pieces of info, or just browse other users by school, location, etc....they also need to be able to get in, and change their info at any time.
If a really simple forum (It could even have one thread...like a chat) could be connected, that would be great.
I am willing to pay someone to help me out with this (mods if I can't say this, sorry, please delete) but anyone that could help me out or at least point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it.
(I'm willing to pay for 6 months or a year of web-hosting too)

This summer, a bunch of people (myself included) are going on a trip somewhere...and I know 60 people or so going. Lots of us are going with different organizations and groups, but when we get there, we all get cell phones. I am trying to make a site where people that are going on this trip can go, put in their name, school, rented cell #, organization they are going with, etc...and then other people going on the trip can find friends or say "hey...so and so is going on the trip with us!"
Stuff like that...so I'll pay for a site...but I just need a simple way to control all this...and make the registration forms, etc...
Would it work if I registered at dreamhost.com or something like that and just went from there...or will I have to find specific software that can do this for me?
