Where I am, we are supposed to get 18' of snow this weekend :arrowhead:

18' of snow. wow that sucks. i hate the snow and the cold.

Will do....It was great out today. Now we have a severe wind alert...around 45 MPH and then this weekend we get the snow. I will snap some pics and post em.

Hmmmmm..... seems very familiar in here.

Ok so there is a skunk somewhere close to my house (I can smell him) and now my dog wants to go out. This could get ugly.

my g/fs parents were in a hurricane. i think it was wilma. they were on there anniversary trip and they had to stay in a elementary school for the whole trip lik 5 days and didnt get to shower or anything.

i couldnt imagine being near one.

i have wanted to see a tornado though.

For Hurricane Francis I didn't have power for 8 days, for Hurricane Jeane it was 30 hours, for Wilma it was 7 days....Katrina was about 4 hours just as it passed over but they didn't cancel classes for a week for it, of course we got the easy pass over with Katrina so thats something to be thankful for.

In the 3 years I lived in Florida, I went through 14 storms and a combined total of 21 days without power.

let me tell you something boys and girls, electricity is something you take for granted!!!!

I developed the hokey pokey shower when hot water goes bye bye, you stick one arm in, you stick the other arm in...then you shake like crazy!!!

I wish it snowed here. That would be fun.

I feel ya on the no power during hurricanes. I was 8 1/2 months pregnant (2 weeks from my due date) when Ivan hit, and we had no power for almost a week. It hit on Thursday and I had to be induced on the following Monday. Thank god for generators at hospitals, huh?
Same way with Katrina, only I wasn't pregnant. But there was no power for a week. It was bad... But it could have been alot owrse.

All that said now... my foot is asleep.
