What do you mean alot of them?

Mod 23 is the only mod that I ever see there. They maybe post once a week, and ban about 10 times a week. I even E-mailed Howard and asked if we could have a replacement and offered my self, and was completely ignored. One this site gets out there, more good posters will stumble on it.

Hofo has gotten far too big as it is. The people are rude and insist on "If you had searched" posts.

It's nearly impossible to find the info you are looking for.

I'm sorry but that list is probably a lot longer if we took time to really compile it. Wireless was an excellent contributor who proved himself to be a man of intelligence and excellent conversation. Swizzel, also fun to post with. Hofosucks was also a good contributing members, that forum was blatantly subjected to the wrath of the cingular moderating staff. They who shall remain nameless are more concerned about protecting their precious carrier than defending the poster.

he posts a lot of betatest opportunities to us (esp T-Mobile users)

sounds like a scary place at HOFO. I coudlnt even browse around bc it was so slow. They gotta be on like 5 servers.

You have no idea my friend, its seen alot of us go because the moderators over there are out of control.

Hofo is full of great people, but also not so great, and the moderators that are supposed to help out with the not so great, don't. How much server power does this site have?

Some of the people there are rude, many are not.

However, it may be just a bit inconsiderate of a person to make a new thread when there is the exact question a day before..... Okay, so if it's some obscure question fine but if it's a "simple" question you can easily find the answer by browsing a bit if not by searching.....

There is no question that hofo is a useful site for gathering wireless information as well as a place for people with a common ground to come together. Our desire to post together over on this site proves hofo has done some good. Unfortunately it seems that with the growth came the inability to make effectively and now it seems as though the mods dole out punishment whenever they see fit, regardless of "due process."

we need to learn from hofo, and mods should avoid favorism
hofo is leaning towards at&t, and pretty hostile against T-Mobile member, we have to avoid this problem happens here, and end up becomes "T-Mobile forum"

Absolutely favoritism is something that cannot come into play. Moderate the topics for the topics and the tone, not the individual.
