Have we reached a plateau?
After weeks of rapid growth, we seem to have stagnated in the 600 - 700 range for membership.

we shud launch a massive advertising campaign, like pledging to put CP in our sigs on different forums and getting something to attract users to come here

I bit of a problem with this site is that there are loads of people waiting around to help others, but only a handful of people are coming here to ask for help. Witness the amount and popularity of threads in "off topic" as opposed to other parts of this forum!

Keep the faith, I'm referring people as I'm sure others are. Think of it like a graph, with the ups and downs. This is just a bit of a lull, we are going to grow this forum. I like the friendly atmosphere, the humor, the great feedback and the off topic subjects just for fun. This is a very well rounded forum that is destined to succeed.

Thanks to the person who began this forum and everyone that joined in to support / moderate and are doing the daily work, maintenance and behind the scenes tasks!

As a businessman that has created a few businesses, I understand growing pains , however there is absolutely no substitute for patience, perserverance and providing a good customer experience.

I find the user / member experience here terrific!

If you put your referrer links up in other forums, thats a great way to get a lot of referrers. Check this post out if you are trying to figure out your links.... http://www.cellphoner.net/site-sugge...rer-links.html

Well i wouldn't suggest doing it there then. I am just saying its a good way to get a lot of referrers. It doesnt even have to be a cell phone forum. Any place that can get some attention.

if the forum is not rival, like the highlanderradio link on my sig, I carry it on several forums and I don't have much trouble
the best way is to invite through email

yeah, at the "other one" I go to, you're not allwed to post any links at all unless it's to your own personal site, like a funformobile site.
