I have a blackberry 8130 pearl that I want to sell. I used to work as a salesman for a wireless provider (telus (in canada)) and instead of getting commission, we got a incentive. We all got a blackberry pearl 8130 for a seasonal promotion. If we sold enough phones and managed to meet our quota, we got to keep the phones. I met my quota, so I got to keep my phone.

What im worried about is that when I was a salesman, Telus wireless let us freely download and use the phone as much as we wanted to as it was needed to be used also as a example to potential customers. When the job was finished (we all were under contract to work for Telus for only one month for the holiday rush) Telus stopped providing a service to the phones they gave us.

So my question is this...I want to sell it on ebay, but do I have to do anything to it before I can sell it? Do I have to delete anything off of it, or will the person I sell it to be able to to go a Telus provider and Immediately activate it with a new account, without any problems? Keep in mind, this was given to us as a incentive, so we had no wireless contracts with Telus.

I don't think you have anything to worry about. You should just delete your personal stuff from it (emails, sms, contacts).

When you sell it they can activate it at any telus store.
