As with any other phone, you can't use your mp3s as ringtones. They are full length songs. You'd have to use a program (google wavepad and download it for free ) and cut down the part you want as a ringtone, usually no more than 25-30 seconds. Then save it to your computer. Go to funformobile.com and use their free uploader to send it to your phone. It will come as a link in a text message, and you'll download it that way. PM me if you get confused or need other instructions. :)

When I had the LG 8300 I was able to the record a song for 30 seconds, then send it to my phone number. When it arrived I would save it as a ring tone. Some of the tones however were to low. My favorite one that turned out the best was the "Electric slide".
