Glad you got it up and working. My bluetooth has absolutely no problems, and I haven't seen anyone else with issues. You might want to either do a full reset, or flash again. What firmware did you flash with? |

I flashed it with D820-FC1 file. from HowardForums. Yeah everything is good except the bluetooth. Also some Java like GMAIL software asks for HTTP info sending and it doesnt work.. anyone know what thats about? any GPRS or GSM settings i should enteR? sorry a newbie.. Tried master reset (phone + visual + sound..._) nothing... Bluetooth still hangs there when u click on "activate".. If i re-flash it you think this might cause a problem?(can u re-flash it 2nd time?)

Yes, they are all safe, just FC2 has some reported errors. I think that you should try reflashing it if you really really need Bluetooth to work...but I don't think the risk of flashing it is worth it for bluetooth (at least for me)

I got free internet for some reason.. You think it will go away if i re-flash it.. ? Also is there any place i can go to check out GPRS settingS? Like when i try to open Flurry (e-mail app) it asks me something about transmitting data over http. I say yes, but it gives me an error and says please configure GPRS. What i am saying if input the standard info on HowardForums... will. it mess things up.. Also Google Maps puts me on a world view where all i can see is USA (dot). I think it might be something with GPRS again.. any info would be great.. and sorry for spamming with all the newb questions.

well this sucks 2x ways now.. I went ahead with the patch after flashing to FC3. A) now i have no unlimited internet.. I used to have access to go to any website w.o signing up to data plan. After i flashed it to FC3 & inputted the intx. from T-Moblile (got a SMS message from T-mobile after i went to that website you provided and it automatically added an extra profile) i lost the internet. When i had the ability to browse all websites i had no settings in my internet (APN.. proxy... ) i tried to go back to no settings it now tells me "Error: Request timed out" when i acess google.com. grrr.. I can however.. access the T-Zones for non-subscribers. B) Yeah bluetooth still isnt fixed..
Will there be a major update in the patch? flurry Last edited by webdk; 02-26-2007 at 04:13 PM. Reason: added a link |

Updates in the patch:
* No confirmation for speaker phone activation. * Caller pictures show bigger on screen now, if they have enough resolution. * Blacklist feature. Handy to block certain numbers so the phone sends them directly to voicemail without even reminding you of him/her. You can access this feature from Phonebook menu inside the main menu. For more info go here to read the google translation of russian patch release. * DRM ignore. You can now send via MMS files with DRM protection (songs or images downloaded thru t-zones and things like that, I think) * Current time shown in phone call screen. So you can know what time it is though you're during a call. * Configure aspect of "desktop" screen from menu. Go to menu 9-3-3 (settings > display settings > text display) and see at the bottom for new options, like wether to show date and/or time or not, the translucent strip behind time/date, and the position. You can also hide the text shown at the bottom of the screen describing what those softs buttons do (this option is called "Cover title" in the menu) * Also this patch was added but doesn't seem to be working for me. Supposedly it lets you add numbers to existing contacts directly from the new number menu. No big deal. |
