There is no way to check a lifetime of a phone. That is why you carry insurance so when you lose it or the phone breaks you get another one.Phones are not like food, that expires after a certain date. Phone will last as long as you take care of it.

OK thanks. When I went through the online manual and found the call history, I figured there would be something there about the life timer too.

Worth mentioning that if the phone is/has been COMPLETELY reset, all of that data goes bye-bye. It takes more than an average Joe to do it, though, so in most cases the Life Timer will be fairly accurate. But it's not impossible to reset it.

on some phones yes you can reset the whole life timers and data but some of them won't.
i guess i need to keep trying or stop trying one of the 2 ;)

Haha, and on some phones you can reset the timers without warning (remember my M610 and your M500? Haha...)
