What happened to Siemens as a major F1 sponsor? They
used to be the official timekeepers of F1 races too.? They aren't on the Mclaren team either anymore. Where did they go? Perhaps they will join the newly succesful BMW team. German sponsor with German car. What do you think?

These deals may run the course of a contract and is simply too expensive to pick back up or the corporation wants to spend its ad money in different ways. The company may sit it out and re-evaluate the direction it wants to take in F1, but typically a company that drops racing doesn't quickly return.

Siemens is one of many German companies that is struggling to make money in a tough European market, that behemoth plane isn't helping much.
