operating system to english now it doesn`t play dvds no more.? it was originally programmed in dutch. cds do play well but not dvds.what can be possibly wrong?

Did you try downloading a replacement driver? Simple non-recognition is often solved that way, and if not it's little effort wasted . The support pages normally have them.
