Im going to get a new cell phone service is Sprint a good service? Is there a lot of dropped calls? Bad Reception?

it really depends on the area where you will be making most of the calls. some areas may have Sprint as the best reception but on some, it could also be the lousiest.

In Detroit/Metro-Detroit sprint is horrible... constant dropped calls.Things to think about if you use Sprint:Sprint merged with Nextel a while back but the two different systems are not yet merged (people are not really ure when the actual merger will be complete)... so you might want to wait until you can get a cool phone (with the nextel option and sprint options)...It depends on where you are located but i know in detroit it is decent to below average quality of reception... Also the sprint samsoung a900 (the razer equivalent) has some problems with the battery! It def. does not last the three hour talk time it says on the boxHope this helps!

Check your coverage maps. Sprint has it now where they have different shades of green to determine your signal strength in your most "visited" areas. Sprints nice IMO. One thing I notice Sprint has more than other carriers is text messaging "issues/problems" where they cut out. Not sure if it happens to other carriers or if it happens as much but it can get annoying. Plus you have 30 days to try it out. VZW also has a "test drive" promotion where you can use the phone(s) and service for 30 days and determine if that's the carrier for you.
