Do you still have to pay the activation fee if you cancel before the end of the 30 days? When did Sprint start tp offer 30 day trials? I thought they only offered a 15 day trial.

I went to the Sprint store yesterday and checked out this plan. The plan is not $29.99 it's $39.99 for the no contract option.
They call it the "Month To Moth Calling Plan". $39.99 includes 200 anytime minutes, unlimited N&W starting at 9pm.

Yes one could, but the price of this plan wouldn't be worth it for me.

The one with contract is 29.99 for the same plan with no roaming or long distance charges, that has the 30 day guaranty. So it is $15 less than the no contract option....

$40 a month, and only 200 minutes? I'd use them in less than a week!

I don't think the rep. who you talked to was wrong per say Scoot. Because they do have a 200 minute plan for $29.00, but it is a contract plan that requires a 1 or 2 year agreement. The no contract for the same plan is $10.00/month extra.

Thumbs up Low Cost Plan

I imagine that the lowest cost plan you can get, will take you either being an employee of Sprint/Nextel, or at least being good enough friends with one that the will add you to their plan under the Sprint Wireless Advantage Club.

Employees curretly get 1 line that has a zero cost monthly fee. [as long as you do not add Total Equipment Protection or Roadside Rescue. Unlimited Anytime minutes, roaming, data, sms. They currently also have up to 12 total lines [based on credit check] on the SWAC plans which start at $15 for 500 minutes a month, nights and weekends starting @ 7pm and Unlimited data and SMS.
