Well, that depends on the actual phone and your cell company.For instance if you have a sim card for your at&t go phone and put it in a cingular it may work even in another at&t, but if you try it on let's say a Nextel or Sprint it will not work because the digital networks are different. Yes it will if you get a phone with all 4 Gsm bands in it (to be sure). It must be fully unlocked. Try to buy from a reputable site like amazon or cellhut. If you can check Better Business Bureau rating of site. Hope that helps you.
