You buy the phone with a certain amount of minutes, and pay to activate it. As you use more minutes, you buy cards with minutes on them, and call them in on your phone to activate those minutes. The Go phone system is generally more expensive than it is worth. The minutes run out if you don't use them, and if you don't buy more in a timely enough fashion, then they cancel your phone and give the number to someone else, so you have to pay to reactivate it. Good luck, hope this helps!

I have the phone and it's expensive IMO

the minute you take a call or receive a call, they charge you $1.00 for the day + 10c a minute. I'm going to change to another carrier. As soon as my minutes run out.

Does anybody know about transferring phone numbers to another prepaid carrier?
