Can't receive text messages from Tijuana
Hi, I've been having trouble getting text messages from friends and family that live in Tijuana that use TelCel. At first I thought it was my sim card or the phone, which was the Motorola C139, because it seemed that I would have trouble receiving messages from a couple of friends, so I bought another Go phone, the Nokia 2610. For a while it was working fine (like about two weeks), I would receive messages from everyone with no problems, so I thought problem solved right? No, now I don't receive text messages from every friend and family from tijuana almost all the time. I can make calls to Tijuana, I can send text to them and they receive it, but I can't receive text from them almost all the time, like 90% of the time. It's frustrating. I first bought the Go phone before Cingular merged with At&t and it worked excellent, but I lost that phone. Could it still be the phone? I sent myself a free text from the internet and I was able to receive that, but At&t was the service provider.
