Is T-Mobile a 3G Network?
Im curious becuase when i graduate from High School in less than 3 months i was planning on getting an unlocked phone (Motorola V3X) but cnet.com it says they arent compatible with US 3G Networks.i wanst sure what that meant. So i was wandering if T-Mobile is one. (I have sprint now, but i was thinking about switching to T-Mobile)I guess the main question would which US Carriers ARE NOT 3G Networks?

The state of cell phones and the cell network are what the land lines would be like if it were not for the Bell System. You know we pay more and waste phones and bandwidth because of unregulated cell system.

This phone will work on T-Mobile. US networks are CDMA based but most UK networks are GSM. if Phone doesnt support 3G it simply means u wont be able to use 3G features of ur network like video calling but the basic phone will still work and most network features can be used on it

But the phone will work on T-Mobile (or Cingular). But T-Mobile's network doesn't support the 3g bands that the phone uses so data would be limited to EDGE speeds (if your area has EDGE that is). |
