T-mobile EDGE coverage map
If you use this map, PLEASE report where you do, or do not have EDGE service. The only way for the map to be more accurate, is with more data from viewers like you :p I will do my best to maintain this map. After a while, it will be fairly complete with everyone's help. PLEASE REPORT: Where you get EDGE (Zip code preferably) and what speed. BLUE: EDGE 100+ Kb/s ![]() EDGE: St. Louis Park, Minneapolis, St. Paul, Minnesota - 100+ New York, New York - 100+ Medway, Dayton, Ohio - 100+ Fort Collins down I70 to Pueblo, Colorado - 100+ Dallas, Ft. Worth, Texas - 100+ Kansas City, Kansas - 100+ St. Louis, Missouri - 100+ Las Angeles, Orange and Riverside county, Long Beach, California - 100+ Chincago, Il - 100+ Detroit, Mi - 100+ Pratt, Ks - 100+ Las Vegas, NV - 100k+ Boston, MA - 220k! Rochester, NY - 100k+ Cleveland, OH - 100k+ Pittsburgh, PA - 135k New Caanan, CT -110k This map was made by myself, and myself only. T-mobile has not released a map of their data coverage, and besides giving a representation of their coverage, this map is in no way related to T-mobile. Last edited by Nwahs; 05-01-2007 at 12:41 PM. Thank ya. I wish there was a better program then Paint I could edit it in...I have ImageReady but its too complicated for me. Paint will work. I put MPLS on there and I know that New York has it. I will also add a list at the bottom of the map of places reported.

Just popping in from HoFo...
CO Front Range (Ft. Collins - Pueblo, along I-70 west to Grand Junction, east to about Limon as well) -- between 85 and 160kbps, depends on time of day (usage maybe? T-Mo's really popular out here). |

It depends on what part of Minneapolis. The part I live in is only about 90-100, most of the time anyway. But most of the suburbs and downtown all hit at least 100. With Edina hitting 150 or so. I'll check at work (St. Paul) on Tuesday but I think it was over a hundred.

I see you added my area. Unfortunatly no EDGE here at home, stuck at 48Kbps on my TyTN. But at work it flys, around 290Kbps, and moms house is 180Kbps or so.

Well its good to know that you CAN get some speed if you needed it. Traveling to moms isn't that bad is it? I see its your first post, welcome aboard!

Hmm looks like I made an error on the map? I need to know where abouts you live so I can get rid of the blue.

EDGE can go no more than 240k whatsoever
any ACTUAL result get more than 240k is considered UMTS; 400K is considered HSDPA |
