do you activate a phone for a friendw/o them knowing?

To my knowledge only prepaid cingular and tmobile phones have sim cards...

no, they do not use SIM cards. and to activate one, you have to take it to a store and have an employee do it. if thats not possible you could call us cellular and try to get them to activate it over the phone for you.

no, you save to the small harddrive, you can activate a phoe for a friend by byuing them the phonen and putting it in there name

Regular Cingular Also Uses Sim Cards, It's What I Have. They Are Easily Converted To Prepay. I Would Suspect Others Do Also.
