What US Cellular phone works best in the
fringe areas? I live on the fringe of a US Cellular cell towers range. I need a phone that will work good as a phone in this area. I do not care about cameras or music, only talking. I have tried Motorola V323i and Audiovox CDM 8900 neither work very well in my house. I had a 10 year old bag phone that worked better. thanks

Time and time again Nokias seem to have the best reception of any phone Ive ever had. I would really give it a shot. Ive owned a LOT of phones and a Nokia's reception almost never lets me down.

Im a US Cellular sales rep. and Nokia is well known to pull in the bests signal on fringe areas if you got the money get the Nokia slider if dont want to spend that much they are coming out with a cheaper nokia flip phone or see if they have a used nokia you can buy at a discount.....thats pry the only better thing then the 323i which works well

The bag phone is analog. If you get better signal with analog than with digital, you can force analog on the v323i.
I have the v323i and have had better success with it in a weak signal area than I did with a Nokia bar phone. (Both on USCC) |
