no they use cdma technology whereas cingular and tmobile use GSM which is used overseas. you can however unlock your phone and it should work with anything.

No it won't, but Verizon does provide GSM phones that will work overseas...I'm not sure how much it would cost. My advice would be to get a prepaid phone when you get there or get a phone card, unless you need your particular cell phone.

Well i am not sure, but i do know t-mobile has international phone service. If you go to t-mobile.com. Compare all phones u like and you will like what you see. Pratically ALL of the phones have international phone service. I hoped this helped a little :]
