Can i get a router or a wireless router without a...
...ISP ( internet service provider : such as Verizon DSL)? Im just wondering if i can buy a router or a wireless router and still not a have a ISP and just be able to connect for free or something like that. If i can tell me how or not.

well if you had a wireless router you would need some sort of isp to go into it to broadcast the signal. same would go for a router.
so you would need to have and isp in order to get internet. Nino |

You can buy a wireless router to connect wireless devices within your home/office, such as MP3 players, a laptop in another room, etc.However, you still need an ISP to connect to the internet. They act as your gateway, connecting without them is impossible (for all but the most uber of geeks, anyway).

no you need to connect the router to a internet service or else your router would not broadcast any thing that you try to browse online

As the first guy said, there is nothing stopping you from buying a router without an ISP, it's just that you won't be able to connect to the internet. All the router would be capable of doing is networking computers or devices in your home.
