Are calls from one Verizon cell phone to another free?
No matter when you call, is it true that calling from one Verizon cell phone to another is free? Can you prove this by showing me where it says that on the internet?

I'm not sure what proof you are talking about. Calling one Verizon phone to another is known as unlimited IN calling (same thing as mobile to mobile). This feature is free on rate plans that are $39.99 and higher. Although you will see these calls listed in your billing summery, you will not see a charge listed next to them.

Here is the portion of the Verizon website specific to "IN" calling:
http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/splash/innetwork.jsp The specifics are as follows: # Connect with more than 54 million Verizon Wireless customers without using up any of your plan minutes. # Talk all you want to any Verizon Wireless customer - any time of the day. This will also include a text/pic package $10.00 or above, unlimited texts, pics and video messaging to other Verizon customers. It is very much the case that so long as you are inside a Verizon network area unlimited in calling will apply. In the event you ARE roaming, ie in the Grand Canyon area, AS FAR I REMEMBER it does count as regular use minutes. Meaning if there is a triangle on your phone, all minutes count. |

ALSO, you may want to read the small print in your contract. People have reported that once your contract expires (ie: you're on month-to-month), you DON'T get Unlimited-IN-Calling anymore. That's a feature reserved for under-contract customers. Apparently Verizon doesn't warn you about this either, so beware (if it is true)!

it's a glitch in the billing system that removes it, i had it happen on one of the lines, it started getting charged for N&W and M2M, but i called in, and they fixed it.

This proves that it's not something that Verizon is purposely taking away but a mix up in their system.

If you have either AC 1 or AC 2 (Americas choice) then you have free Verizon to verizon. If you have a local plan, your Inpulse area may be different.

Most of the AC 1 plans that are left are now grandfathered in plans, since Verizon changed over to AC 2. Also there is no Verizon to Verizon on the AC 2 $34.99 plan.
